Our 3:00 pm Celebration Service offers you an experience of the presence of God that stays with you throughout the week. Every Sunday, we inspire our people with beautiful music, prayers, a guided meditation and a powerful inspirational message. Our loving community includes like-minded adults and children of all ages, who create an environment that is welcoming and empowering at a meaningful level. Every Sunday, our Children's Church provides nurturing programs for children ages 2-11, Uniteens ages 12-14, and Youth of Unity ages 14-18.

Mountaintop Unity offers a variety of classes and workshops to provide you with tools for transformation and study of our Unity principles. Popular weekend retreats for women (Women in Spirit) and mixed groups are offered on a regular basis where we further deepen our progress on the unfolding spiritual journey. We invite you to attend as many of our inspiring classes and events as you like.

There are many ways that we nurture and build a sense of community at Mountaintop Unity. Throughout the month, we offer small group opportunities where you can get to know other like-minded souls, develop friendships and get support. Our Community Adventures group offers active, fun, family-oriented recreational activities such as hiking and bowling. The Spirit in Action outreach team provides compassionate support to local, regional and global communities by giving the gift of our direct service to selected charities. The Women in Spirit group is a social, spiritual gathering for women who want to deepen their practice of spiritual principles within the context of women empowering women. Mountaintop Unity Prayer Meetings provide heartfelt prayer support and an experience of union with God through prayer and meditation. Our Love in Action volunteer teams provide a way to practice sacred devotion to God and to each other.

Sample Retreat Program

Treat yourself to a transformational, healing weekend or day retreat with others on the spiritual path. You will join together to open your heart and celebrate the essence of your powerful Spirit. With opportunities to honour your mystical divine nature, you can enter into a personal, experiential exploration of your relationship with the Divine nature. We will awaken to the Glory and the Truth of who we really are - beings of Love, Light, Power and Sacredness. The intention of this retreat is that we will experience a spiritual healing that awakens us to the blissful heart. From the Buddhist wisdom literature of the Sutta Nipata:

In safety and in Bliss,
May all creatures be of a Blissful Heart,
Whatever breathing beings there may be,
Seen or unseen, dwelling far or near,
May all creatures be of a Blissful Heart.

Rivendell

Come apart for a while to a truly special place called Rivendell, a beautiful, prayerful Retreat Centre perched atop Cates Hill on Bowen Island with breathtaking views of mountains and ocean all around.

All bedrooms in the four story lodge are comfortably appointed with bedding, towels, a desk and beautiful views. It is a true feast for the eyes and the heart.

Rivendell, as a living sanctuary, is a welcoming ecological environment where guests are invited to be custodians of their own living spaces and common areas, co-operating in the practices of recycling and conservation of energy as well as following general guidelines for community living.
